GRUPO AZZURRA (INVERSIONES ROGGANO SAS, LIVEBOAT SAS Y KALESMA SAS) supports and complies with Laws 679 of 2001 (Art. 16, 17 and 19) 1336 of 2009, Law 599 of 2000 and Resolution 3840 of 2009 whose purpose is to dictate protection measures against exploitation, pornography, sexual tourism and other forms of sexual abuse against children and adolescents.

ARTICLE 20. SANCTIONS. The Ministry of Economic Development will impose the following sanctions, in accordance with the procedure established for this purpose in Law 300 of 1996:

  • Fines of up to three hundred (300) current legal monthly minimum wages, which will be assigned to the Tourism Promotion Fund for effects of this law.
  • Suspension for up to ninety (90) calendar days of registration in the National Registry of Tourism.
  • Cancellation of the inscription in the National Registry of Tourism that will imply the prohibition to carry out the tourist activity for five (5) years counted from the sanction. The Ministry of Economic Development may delegate this surveillance and control function to the territorial entities. This delegation, however, does not exclude the responsibility of the delegate for the acts or omissions of the delegates.

Given COVID restrictions, Casa Azzurra Luxury Boutique Houses has established an alliance with a local lab, in order to enable guests to have the required covid tests performed on time -in accordance with requirements of international authorities- and to be able to fly back as scheduled from Colombia into the United States and Europe. The cost of the test, unlike in the United States, and some countries in Europe is not covered by the government, thus, it has to be paid by each traveler. Casa Azzurra Luxury Boutique Houses is not business-related, does not economically intermediate, receive money, gifts, or any type of commissions from the lab. The price of the test is set by the lab, and calculated in US Dollars, according to the exchange rate of the day when the test is to be performed.
